VPN Cyber Monday 2026: dates, NordVPN and Surfshark deals, and what is not announced yet

VPN Cyber Monday 2026: what is announced, what is not

Cyber Monday 2026 is Monday, November 30. For a VPN, it is one date in a much longer campaign: NordVPN opened its offer on October 21, 2026 and announces three stages (Black Friday, exclusive week, Cyber Monday) that run until December 9. Surfshark has put its official page online with a countdown dedicated to Cyber Monday. For the other brands, no 2026 offer is announced so far.

This page follows a simple rule: a figure appears only if it comes from an official page or from the partner programme’s announcement, with its date of record. When a brand has announced nothing, you read “not announced yet” and the 2025 reference, dated, without presenting it as this year’s offer. The status below is that of October 22, 2026; it will be revised at the phase changes.

Short answer: Cyber Monday 2026 falls on Monday, November 30, right in the middle of NordVPN’s exclusive week (November 24 to December 1, Basic 2-year plan announced at €2.99 a month). The phase NordVPN names “Cyber Monday” runs from December 2 to 9, with no price announced for now. For Black Friday on November 27, see our guide VPN Black Friday 2026.

What day is Cyber Monday 2026?

Cyber Monday is the first Monday after Black Friday. In 2026: Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 26, Black Friday on Friday, November 27, Cyber Monday on Monday, November 30. In 2025, the calendar was the same, shifted by a year: Black Friday on November 28, Cyber Monday on December 1.

For VPNs, the official date matters less than each provider’s calendar. NordVPN, for instance, announces a Cyber Monday that stretches from December 2 to 9, that is after the real date. Keep the distinction in mind: the Cyber Monday day (November 30) and NordVPN’s Cyber Monday phase (December 2 to 9) do not coincide.

NordVPN: Cyber Monday within the 2026 campaign

According to NordVPN’s partner programme (communication of October 21, 2026), the campaign runs in three phases, Paris time:

Monday, November 30 therefore falls in the exclusive week: it is that week’s price, announced at €2.99 a month for the Basic 2-year plan, that applies that day. We do not yet know whether the 3 free months of phase 1 carry over, or what renewal price will be shown: so we do not write it.

For the December 2 to 9 phase, no figure is announced as of October 22, 2026. The only public certainty is the end date: the official page “The best Black Friday VPN deal of 2026” says “Deal ends December 9, 2026”.

The monthly price shown is not the price you pay up front, and it is not the renewal price. On October 18, 2026, the Basic 2-year plan at €3.49 a month came to €94.23 for the first 27 months (2 years plus 3 free months), then a renewal at €139.08 a year, about €11.59 a month (our calculation). Check both amounts on the payment page on the day you buy. To see the offer: NordVPN, current offer. If you buy through this link, we earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.

NordPass: the offer until December 9

NordPass, Nord Security’s password manager, is on promotion from October 21 to December 9, 2026, so throughout Cyber Monday. Announced by its partner programme:

Pricing-page amounts are given before tax (noted on October 18, 2026), and the renewal price is not shown there. Before buying, read our NordPass review and our password manager comparison: the free plan is limited to one active session, and the code is closed. To see the offer: NordPass, current offer.

Surfshark: the Cyber Monday countdown

Surfshark’s official page “Best Black Friday VPN deal in 2026” shows two countdowns: “Black Friday deal ends in” and “Cyber Monday deal ends in”. On October 22, 2026, seen from a US address, it announces “from $2.49 a month + 3 months extra” ($8.25 crossed out).

What we did not note: the end dates of the two countdowns, the price in euros, the matching commitment length and the renewal price. The dollar amount and NordVPN’s price in euros are therefore not directly comparable. A point of transparency: we have no active affiliate link for Surfshark, this link is direct with no commission: Surfshark’s Black Friday page. The other brands: not announced yet

As of October 22, 2026, no Cyber Monday 2026 offer is announced for the brands below. The right-hand column gives the 2025 reference, dated, when we have one. It predicts nothing.

An honest lesson from the CyberGhost reference: the offer reported in 2025 stopped on November 30, 2025, that is the day before that year’s Cyber Monday (December 1, 2025, our calculation from the calendar). So never assume a Black Friday promotion lasts until Cyber Monday: check the end date on the official page.

For those we monetise, these links lead to the usual subscription page, not to a Cyber Monday offer: Proton VPN, PureVPN, CyberGhost, PrivateVPN. Private Internet Access, not monetised here: official site, direct link. To try one without spending anything, see Proton VPN free and the 30-day guarantee explained in NordVPN free trial.

Black Friday or Cyber Monday: which to pick?

The question is badly framed for a VPN, because the two days melt into a campaign lasting several weeks. Three observations:

1. At NordVPN, they belong to the same phase. November 27 and 30 are both in the exclusive week from November 24 to December 1. The announced price is a single one for that week: there is nothing to gain by picking one rather than the other.
2. The real difference is between phases. According to what is announced, the exclusive week (€2.99 a month for the Basic 2-year plan) is €0.50 a month below the current phase (€3.49), or €12 over 24 months at equal term (our calculation). The December 2 to 9 phase has no announced price.
3. Brands with no announcement are an unknown. For Proton VPN, PureVPN, CyberGhost, PIA and PrivateVPN, we know nothing about 2026. Waiting for their announcements may be worth it if you want to compare, but it is not a reason to give up an available offer.

Our rule: pick the plan, not the day. Compare the sum billed, the renewal price, the term and the money-back guarantee (30 days at NordVPN, Surfshark, Proton VPN and PrivateVPN, 31 days at PureVPN, 45 days at CyberGhost according to their pages).

A dated action plan

Here is how to approach the end of the year, depending on your situation. The dates are those announced by NordVPN; we will confirm them at each switch.

• Right now (October 22 to November 23). You need a VPN: take the current offer with the 30-day guarantee. You want to compare: read our ranking of cheap VPNs and our VPN Black Friday 2026 guide.
• November 24. Start of the exclusive week. Check on the official page that the Basic 2-year plan is indeed at €2.99 a month, and read the note on the renewal price. We will update this page that day.
• November 27 and 30. Real Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Reload the official pages of brands that had announced nothing: that is often where their offers appear, but it is not guaranteed.
• December 2. Start of NordVPN’s Cyber Monday phase. Note the exact content of the offer before paying.
• December 9. Last day of the NordVPN and NordPass offers. On December 10, usual prices return.

If you already have a VPN that is about to expire, look at the end date and the renewal price: taking a new starting offer is often better than renewing, but check the brand’s conditions.

Fake bargains: the reflexes

In France, according to the DGCCRF (page of August 25, 2026), professionals who announce a reduction must show the lowest price applied during the previous 30 days, under the European directive known as “Omnibus”. A price comparison is not a reduction. In practice:

• Read the footnote. NordVPN states that its savings compare the intro price with the renewal price; ExpressVPN, that its discounts are based on its current monthly price. These are not the same bases of comparison.
• Compute the sum billed. A low monthly price over 27 months is not the same as a small amount paid.
• Compare the renewal. It can be more than three times the intro price: $139.08 a year against $3.49 a month at NordVPN on October 18, 2026.
• Be wary of countdowns that restart and of “Cyber Monday codes” sold by third parties: official offers are displayed for free on the provider’s site.
• Buy on the official domain. A reseller or marketplace can deprive you of the direct guarantee.

Updated on October 22, 2026. Next revisions: November 24 (exclusive week), November 30 (real Cyber Monday), December 2 (NordVPN Cyber Monday phase) and after December 9 (end of the offers). Any Proton VPN, PureVPN, CyberGhost, Private Internet Access or PrivateVPN offer actually announced will be added with its date of record.

Transparency: NordVPN, NordPass, Proton VPN, CyberGhost, PureVPN and PrivateVPN are among our partner programmes, and we earn a commission if you go through our links, at no extra cost to you.
