Submit a VPN or propose a partnership
Do you run a VPN, a password manager or a privacy tool, and think it belongs in our reviews and comparisons? Here is how to write to us, what we expect and what happens next.
Our commitments before you write
- The review is free. Submitting a service costs nothing, and no score, ranking or recommendation can be bought.
- No positive score is guaranteed. If the service disappoints, the verdict says so, weak points included.
- We test before we mention. No write-up from a press kit: we install the service and measure it under our public methodology.
- Affiliation is disclosed. We earn a commission on some of our links, it is stated, and it changes neither the price for the reader nor the score.
The services we test
To enter our in-depth tests, a VPN must meet the criteria in our methodology:
- at least 5 years on the market,
- at least one independent audit of its no-logs policy, by a recognized firm,
- native apps for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS,
- a 30-day money-back guarantee at minimum,
- a network of at least 500 active servers.
A newer or smaller service can still be mentioned in a targeted comparison or article if it brings something specific, but it does not get a full review until it meets these criteria. Free VPNs are excluded by default.
What we need in your message
- the service name and its URL,
- the operating company and its jurisdiction,
- the independent audits available (firm, date, link to the report),
- public pricing (a link to your pricing page is enough),
- the affiliate program if there is one: commission, cookie length, platform (Awin, Impact, PartnerStack, in-house...). It is not an eligibility condition, but it lets us label our links correctly,
- a test account with no early expiry during the test, so we can measure on real connections,
- a contact on your company's own domain (name@your-vpn.com). Messages sent from a Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo address are not processed: it is our filter against mass outreach.
The process in 4 steps
- Intake and triage. We read every message. You get an answer within 7 days, refusals included.
- Testing. If the service is selected, it joins the test queue. Allow 2 to 8 weeks depending on our editorial schedule.
- Writing. Speed, security, streaming, price and ease of use are measured by us. You approve neither the content, nor the score, nor the angle.
- Publication. The review goes live without a pre-publication check by you. You are told the day it is published.
Special cases
Account offered for the test
When a subscription is offered to us for the duration of the test, we say so at the top of the article. It gives no rights over the content, and the account can be closed once the test is over.
Affiliate partnership
An affiliate program guarantees neither a review nor a good ranking. Conversely, we recommend services with a low or even no commission when they suit a given type of user. We sell neither sponsored articles nor a spot in a ranking.
Correction after publication
A verifiable factual error (a price that changed, a feature removed that we described as present, an audit we missed) is fixed within 5 days, with the update date. A request to remove a negative review is not honored.
Reasoned refusal
If we do not take the service on for now, we explain why in a few lines. It is not final: you can come back 6 to 12 months later, after a major product change.
How to submit your service
One official channel: hello@avisvpn.com, subject Submit a VPN: [Service name]. The button below opens your mail app with a ready-made template.
No direct messages on social media for submissions, and no repeated follow-ups: one clear 10-line email works better than an outreach campaign. For anything else, see the Contact page.
